Harbour View Assisted Living, on beautiful Munising Bay, is Alger County's premiere residential center for senior citizens. Harbour View offers a variety in living settings, including a choice of single room, luxury single room, a double room for couples and adjoining rooms. many amenities are covered in the rates for these rooms.

General Information & Services of Harbour View

At Harbour View, residents will enjoy independence, the companionship of friends, the conveniences of a small community and the peace of mind of assisted living. A spacious dining area, TV room, den/visiting room, large living room and large four-season room provide ample space for a variety of social activities. Our caring family will provide personalized support with day-to-day tasks while allowing residents to lead an independent life.

Harbour View Assisted Living Center is programmed, designed and staffed to promote maximum independence and provide care giving to meeting the changing needs and preferences of the elderly as they continue to age.

Harbour View offers a multitude of services and amenities to its residents within the monthly service fee including:

• Residents may furnish their own rooms or furnishings may be provided upon request.
• Three nutritious meals daily, plus snacks.
• Weekly cleaning of Resident's room
• Fresh linens weekly
• Planning and arranging of necessary transportation
• Social and recreational activities
• Consultations with Resident and family as needed or requested by either the Resident or by the facility.

  All utilities (including cable) used in the Facility. (Note: the Facility will not provide Resident with a personal phone, nor will it provide for personal phone installation and service).

Personal Services of Harbour View

• Routine observation of Resident's general health
• Assistance with obtaining a doctor as needed and assistance with keeping appointments
• Assistance with activities of daily living including bathing and personal needs
• Assistance with taking prescribed medications
• Emergency call response
• Awareness of resident's general whereabouts even though they may travel independently about community

Accommodations of Harbour View

Harbour View offers a variety of living settings, including a choice of single room, luxury single room, a double room for couples and adjoining rooms. All units have a private bathroom with emergency push cord. Residents have use of a common kitchen area.

Additionally the furnished units feature the following:

• Wall-to-wall carpeting
• Window treatments
• Emergency call buttons in the bathroom and living area
• Wheelchair and walker accessibility
• Cable television service
• Telephone hookup outlet
• Closets in bedroom and cabinets in bathroom

Accommodations can also be made for those residents who wish to rent a furnished apartment.
